Getting to Písac (Pisaq)

Overview: Písac or Pisaq is a popular destination in the Sacred Valley. Wonderful old Inca ruins, spectacular views and well-preserved agricultural terraces await the visitor.

Longitude: 71º 50' 59.35" W

By Air: You can fly in to Cuzco and then take a bus to Písac.

By Rail: There are no railway lines close to this town. The nearest ones are southeast of it, in the town of Huambutio.

By Road: The town of Písac can be reached by road from 3 main roads: the on that leads there from Cuzco, the one from Urubamba (connecting with the road coming from Lares to Calca), the on from Tipn going through Huambutio.
