Getting to Calca

Overview: Calca is a popular town in the Sacred Valley region of Peru, not far away from Cuzco, on the northern bank of the Vilcanota River. Calca is a friendly little town with hotels and its own Inca archaeological attractions, represented by Huchuy Cuzco or "Little Cuzco".

GPS Coordinates:

Latitude: 13º 19' 45" S

Longitude: 72º 11' 44" W

By Air: To Cuzco Airport, then from there by road vehicle.

By Rail: There is no possibility. You will have to go to Ollantaytambo or Cuzco in order to use the train.

By Road: Good road connections insure connection with the other parts of the region: Yucay and Urubamba to the west, Lares to the north and Písac to the east.
