Getting to Chan Chan

Overview: Beautiful archaeological complex of a Chimú ruined city. It is very close to Trujillo City: only at about 5 km (3.1 mi) westwards. This complex is rarely visited by foreign tourists, because it is less known than the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Nazca, Titicaca destinations. Although, we would like to attract your attention that Chan Chan is a very special destination that is worth visiting.

Latitude: 8º 6' 40" S

Longitude: 79º 04' 32" W

By Air: You can fly to Chiclayo's own airport and from there take a road vehicle.

By Rail: Not possible.

By Road: Very short trip from Chiclayo. Buses and taxis will take you there. The 5 km (3.1 mi) trip will cost little.
