Getting to Chiclayo

Overview: City of over 700.000 inhabitants, situated in northwestern Peru, in the Lambayeque Region and within that, in Chiclayo Province. There are nearby archaeological sites and a museum called The Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum in Lambayeque, a nearby small city.

By Air: Chiclayo has its own airport, which is connected to several cities. There were regular scheduled flight to Trujillo, Lima and Chachapoyas.

By Rail: Trains and train stations are non-existent in this city.

By Road: There are many buses that will take you to Chiclayo from the big cities. Most bus trips link Chiclayo with Lima, Trujillo, Piura, Cajamarca, Chachapoyas, Tumbes.
