Getting to Lima

By Air: Jorge Chávez International Airport is Lima's aerial gateway to the rest of the World. International and intercontinental flights are available

By Rail: Trains are not available in this area of Peru. Might seem surprising to a western tourist, but Peru doesn't have a vast rail transportation network.

By Road: Because it is the country capital, Lima is well connected with roads. Especially along the coast and around the city, the roads are in very good condition. Transportation by bus from Lima is quite easy, as there are many companies that operate to faraway corners of the country, even to the other parts of South America, as far away as Caracas and Buenos Aires.
