Getting to Sacsayhuamán

Overview: Famous Inca ruin complex right near Cuzco. It used to be a large fortress of the Inca Empire.

Latitude: 13° 30' 28" S

Longitude: 71° 58' 54" W

By Air: Fly to Cuzco. From the city you might as well walk out to Sacsayhuamán.

By Rail: Cuzco can be accessed by train, but only from smaller towns, cities.

By Road: Most people walk out to the site from Cuzco or they hire a car to take them close. There are trails, roads for walking. Cars can get you pretty close to the entrance.
