Getting to Tipón

Overview: Archaeological site east of Cuzco, famous for its Inca aqueducts, which are in very good condition and are constructed in a very interesting layout. Most maps don't even show Tipón's location and some travelers confuse the archaeological site of Tipón with a Cuzco neighbourhood, which is called the same way.

Latitude: 13° 33' 26" S

Longitude: 71° 47' 27" W

By Air: The closest airport is Cuzco's airport. Transfer by rail or road.

By Rail: No train leads directly to Tipón, but you can approach it by taking the train to Oropesa, getting

By Road: Roads lead from Cuzco towards Urcos. Take the road almost to Oropesa, but turn north before Oropesa. There is a small road called "Acceso a Tipón".
