Getting to Juliaca

Overview: The city has over 200.000 inhabitants and together with Puno, they are the main cities and transportation hubs near Lake Titicaca

Latitude: 15º 29' 26" S

Longitude: 70º 7' 36" W

By Air: Juliaca has its own airport. Flights are operated to Arequipa, Cuzco and Lima.

By Rail: The train that comes from Cuzco passes through Juliaca before getting to Puno. And there is a line that connects Juliaca with Arequipa as well. From Cuzco, you will find more trains per week, but to Arequipa sometimes there are no trains.

By Road: There are buses to Puno, Cuzco, Arequipa, Lima and various places in Bolivia. Check locally for schedules, which are subject to change.
